St. Jude’s Recovery Center provides substance abuse treatment for homeless and low-income families and individuals in metropolitan Atlanta. Hope House provides transitional housing for homeless men who are participating in a structured addiction treatment program, with the goal of becoming self-sufficient. Mary Hall Freedom House provides a comprehensive residential recovery program for women and women with children and offers individualized services designed to empower women and provide them with the tools and resources necessary to break the cycle of addiction and live drug free.
Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, Inc. is a non-profit, faith-based recovery community organization (RCO).    RCA, Inc.’s goal is to collaborate with faith- (primarily churches) and community-based organizations to develop peer-to-peer support services and programs that help sustain long-term recovery.
Positive Impact is a non-profit community-based organization whose mission is to empower those affected by HIV-AIDS through culturally competent and inclusive prevention, education, mental health, and substance abuse treatment services. Positive Impact provides many programs, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling; free HIV testing; IMPACT - an intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program; educational/empowerment programming and free STD testing; mental health case management and outreach to Latino and homeless communities; substance-abuse treatment navigation services; psychiatric care; and access to local resources and information for gay and  bisexual men.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Faces and Voices of Recovery is a national addiction recovery advocacy organization whose mission is to organize the over 20 million Americans in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs, their families, friends and allies in a campaign to end discrimination; broaden social understanding; and achieve a just response to addiction as a public health crisis.

Nar-Anon is a twelve-step program designed to help relatives and friends of addicts recover from the effects of living with an addicted relative or friend. The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction. The program of recovery uses Nar-Anon's Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.
The Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (GARR) evaluates and monitors quality of care of addiction recovery residence programs in the state. Founded in 1987, it was the first association in Georgia to develop and maintain a standards system for recovery residences across the state.
Gilgal, Inc. is a Christian residential program for homeless women struggling with addiction whose goal is to educate, equip, and empower women to break the cycle of defeat that led them to drug and alcohol abuse and to embrace a future free of drugs utilizing their fullest potential.
The SAMHSA Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Locator is a searchable directory      of drug and alcohol treatment programs sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The directory shows the location of addiction treatment programs and facilities around the country, including residential treatment centers, outpatient treatment programs, and hospital inpatient programs for drug addiction and alcoholism. Listings include treatment programs for marijuana, cocaine, and heroin addiction, as well as drug and alcohol treatment programs for adolescents, and adults.
Tangu Counseling & Treatment Services provides counseling and treatment services for youth, adults, and families. Tangu offers Intensive Outpatient, Relapse Prevention, Transitional Housing services and  an Outpatient Ambulatory Detoxification program and specializes in opiate addiction detoxification and treatment.
